I find this framework helpful for evaluating the use of technology throughout the curriculum because it takes into account both how the technology can transform learning but also student's engagement with it. I also appreciate that this model allows for each box of the grid to serve a purpose. Although it is ideal for many student activities is to be in the Creative/Transform box, that isn't practical for all activities. This framework reminds me that there is a variety of smaller ways that technology can also be used to enhance student learning in the classroom everyday.

    Hi. Rachel, in your PR box you have students being handed out notes. While this is definitely passive for the learner, I'm not sure that this entirely replaces copying down notes. This use of technology has taken the task from an interactive (albeit dull) activity into completely passive. Is there a way that notes could be taken digitally as a replacement task?

  You can access the previous Linoit board here. I chose three photos to add to my library re-design that demonstrate a potential for the space.  First, I chose a photo of a makerspace wall. I like this photo because it takes up minimal space and would be a concept I would use in my current school's library due to lack of available space. By having a makerspace wall, students could have the tools to engage with design thinking in the library. I received some feedback that a wall may make it hard for some students to reach the materials they need. I have updated my design with a rolling cart instead.   Here is my second iteration of my library learning commons model. In response to the feedback I received, I fixed up the grammar mistake in my "Creation" box, changed the background colour to a bolder choice and added in an updated logo.
